Michael Kim was born in Edmonton and raised in Vancouver. After graduating with honours with distinction from St. George’s school in Vancouver, Michael attended Pomona College in Claremont, California, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, minoring in Mathematics. Throughout his academic career, Michael has participated in several chemical research laboratories, including organic and biochemistry laboratories, in the United States and Korea.

Michael has experience in coaching high school students in sports and translates ideas from science and medicine, as well as extensive knowledge of the U.S. Admissions systems and standardized test taking strategies, to maximize student learning and success.

Michael’s passions include music, health, martial arts, fitness, science, education and his little fluffy white dog, Pama.
