BA, NCAA Division 1 Hockey Player
Athletic Recruitment Specialist
At the age of 11 Eliot was RLG’s first client, working closely with Zahra over many years. In 2007 Eliot graduated from the prestigious St. Georges School on the westside of Vancouver.
As an avid hockey player Eliot decided to pursue his passion and spent the following three years playing junior hockey in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) with aspirations of obtaining an NCAA Division 1 hockey scholarship. His dream came true in February of 2010, when he was recruited by several Division 1 schools. Eliot became a Tiger and signed with the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in upstate New York.
At RIT, Eliot chose to major in Business Management with a minor in Criminal Justice. A 7-time Academic All American, and 4 year Dean’s list member, Eliot won the team’s award for Academic excellence in his senior year. On the ice, Eliot helped the Tigers to 2 conference final appearances and a Catamount Cup tournament victory in his junior year.
Turning down offers to play hockey professionally overseas, upon graduation Eliot has shifted his focus to sports law, where he is eager to combine his athletic background with a Juris Doctor (JD). Working closely with RLG, he has spent ayear studying for his LSAT’s and applying to national and international law schools. Eliot received multiple acceptance letters and scholarships to attend law school in 2015 and chose to study at San Diego’s prestigious Sports Law program.
In addition, Eliot has been busy co-founding a sport-based tech startup and served as a coach of the junior varsity hockey team at St. Georges this winter. In his spare time he enjoys cycling, golf and working out and he is quite passionate about men’s fashion and entrepreneurship.
RLG is excited to have Eliot join the team and share his unique academic and athletic experiences with our future athletes.
