Justin Galimpin

BA (English Literature), MA (English Literature)

Justin Galimpin was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, where he attended Simon Fraser University for his undergraduate and graduate years, completing both his Bachelor's and Master's in English Literature. Prior to his studies in English Literature, he has also completed a Diploma in Computer Information Systems with Distinction at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

Justin has worked with students at an elementary, high school, and post-secondary level; during his time as a graduate student, Justin worked both as a Teaching Assistant for several professors at Simon Fraser University and as a Senior English Instructor at a learning center. In these roles, Justin aided and taught students in basic grammar and writing, essay writing, as well as academic applications for post-secondary studies.

Justin's interests fall heavily around pop culture and contemporary literature, although he is more than familiar with the classic works of Shakespeare and the like. More recently, Justin has found an interest in the digital humanities; with a passion for learning from and teaching others, Justin aims to further delve into exploring novel approaches that bridge traditional and technological realms to enhance education.
